Thomas George aim to make the lettings process as simple as possible. Our years of experience have enabled us to develop our procedures to ensure each rental is run smoothly and efficiently.

Tenant Selection

When you choose to rent your residential property with Thomas George, our negotiator will discuss with you your tenant requirements. Some landlords prefer not to let to smokers or households with children or pets.

Each prospective tenant is carefully interviewed as part of the lettings agency process, with financial and employment references obtained as required. In some circumstances, we will require a guarantor and appropriate references are also taken in this instance.

Prospective tenants are always accompanied on viewings to your rental property, either met outside the house or apartment by one of our negotiators, or taken in our courtesy cars. If the rental property is currently occupied, all viewings will be made on a strict appointment only basis.

Customer Service

At Thomas George Residential Lettings, we pride ourselves on the high level of customer service we provide to landlords and tenants. Our customer service telephone line is manned 24 hours a day so that any emergencies with our managed rental properties can be dealt with quickly and effectively, minimising disruption to the tenant and inconvenience to the landlord.

Thomas George are officially-appointed advisors on the 'buy-to-let' scheme in association with Halifax, Woolwich, Mortgage Express and Mortgage Trust. We are always pleased to offer confidential, free advice on property investment, including mortgages, property type and area to help you make the choices best suited to your needs.
